Elgin Pro Stock lifters are manufactured to the highest quality standards. They are precision engineered to insure the utmost in performance and reliability. Standard hydraulic lifters provide acceptable performance up to 4,500 RPM. The "HP" High Performance series feature a special high strength steel retainer to precisely limit plunger travel (anti-pump up). This allows the valve train to perform as a "mechanical" system at higher RPM levels. Sold in sets of 4.
